The Solar Energy Conservation Project aims to harness the power of the sun to meet the growing electricity demands in Gurugram. Through the installation of off-grid solar panels and solar street lights, the project will provide sustainable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly energy solutions to underserved areas, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting long-term energy independence.

Objective

To reduce carbon footprints and improve access to clean energy by installing off-grid solar panels and solar street lights in government schools, primary health centers, and rural/underdeveloped areas of Gurugram

Operationalization

The project involves the installation of off-grid solar systems ranging from 3 kW to 10 kW in selected locations to enhance energy access and sustainability. Additionally, it includes the deployment of solar-powered street lights equipped with LED technology and motion sensors, ensuring efficient lighting and improved safety in areas where required

Solar-powered lights operate independently of the grid, ensuring continuous lighting even during power outages, contributing to long-term energy independence
